KTG Cultural Day 2016

KTG Education Group observed its cultural day of 2016 on 3rd November, 2016 with the theme ‘Love is the key to diversity’. The campus lobby was decorated colourfully in a festive manner as the day-long programme venue. There was a fashion show, cultural exhibition stalls, club activities stalls, group dances and songs representing almost all cultural groups of KTG students. There were groups from China, Nigeria, Middle East Countries, Equatorial Guinea, Sabah and Sarawak. With a huge round of applause, groups came on stage one after another and demonstrated their unique dress, colour, music and taste to the enthusiastic audience. Competitions were held, prizes distributed and speeches delivered with an audience of university high officials, lecturers, staff and students.

Fund Raising

KTG Education Group final year students of Academy of Applied and Visual Arts (AAVA) held a Fund-Raising Week from 23rd to 25th November at DKA5 block of the campus. Events held were car wash, live busking, portrait drawing etc. Hundreds of students and the staff members enjoyed the activities and inspired the fund-raising groups.

Gotong Royong

On Saturday 19th November, 2016 KTG Education Group held Gotong Royong (Work Together) cleaning event at Local Hostel’s as part of the government declared Fight Dengue Campaign. Several teams comprising lecturers, staff members and the students worked hand in hand in a festive manner to sweep and clean the common areas.

IT Entrepreneurship Day

Computer Science and IT students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FOET) held an entrepreneurship event on 17th November, 2016. There were stalls selling food items and giving computer-related services. Students also invited entrepreneurs from the industry to see their work and inspire!! WELL DONE!!

Rajamangla University’s Visit to KTG

Recently a delegation team from Rajamangala University, Bangkok (Thailand) has visited KTG Education Group with the purpose of discussion and MOU signing between the two institutions. The team members were very happy to cooperate with KTG Education Group.

UEL Visit to KTG

Mr. Goddard from the University of East London UK visited KTG Education Group on 25th November, 2016 as part of longtime partnership between UEL and KTG. He had a walk around the campus and a close look at the creative works of the Academy of Applied and Visual Arts.
