Convocation Dinner 2016

Convocation Dinner 2016 offered by KTG Education Group President Datuk KT Lim was an eventful evening at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel. VIP’s, senior KTG officials, lecturers, parents and students all melted their hearts there together while being entertained by various individual and group stage performances as well as a grand dinner of multi-cuisine dishes and drink. Grand prizes like 3D2N Bali trip for 2 pax and 3D2N Pulau Redang Trip for 2 added special excitement to the colourful event.

The 12th Convocation Ceremony of KTG EDUCATION GROUP was held on 25th, October, 2016 at Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya.

25th October, 2016 was a memorable day for hundreds of KTG students and their near and dear ones. On this day, a total of 1062 students including 37 from Institut Antarabangsa Sains Mantin, 98 from Institute Jati, 671 from Institut Teknologi Pertama and 256 from Linton University College graduated in various disciplines and levels. Outstanding students were also awarded for excellent academic achievements.  KTG education group’s President Datuk KT Lim graced the occasion with his presence.

Convocation Registration Day

The registration day for Convocation 2016 was a cheerful reunion time at KTG campus for  graduating students. Many of them flew back to the endeared premises from their home country. Everything was organized in an orderly and purposeful manner for the best convenience of the graduands.

Leadership Camp 2016

A GREAT TEAM most of all needs a GREAT LEADER to spur them to SUCCESS. Therefore, Student Affairs Department organized a Leadership Camp at OUTBACK BROGA, Semenyih on the 8th and 9th of October 2016 with the help of Facilitators from the Peer Support Group (PSG). We had a thrilling time with many challenging activities and lots of fun without fear. In a word, the experience gave birth to new courage making all participants braver and wiser in making decisions in life.

A weary wander it was though, our wanderlust won over. You did an Excellent Job, proving you are Great Leaders of time ahead. WELL DONE EVERYONE!

On the 8th of October 2016, KTG Education Group students were blessed by being invited to join the National Sports Day event held at Linton University College football field. The event started at 7:00am and included sports like Aerobics, 10000 steps walkathon, and so on!!

PAM Annual Architecture Student Works Exhibition 2016

Theme: ‘ARCHIinteraction”

Ground Floor, Highstreet, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya

“PAM BEST STUDENT AWARD is an annual ceremony organized by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM). The PAM Annual Architecture Students Workshop and Exhibition event was held at One Utama Shopping Centre to recognize outstanding achievements by students of architecture and design. The event attracted participation from architecture schools in public and private universities, colleges and polytechnics throughout Malaysia.

This year event’s theme was “ArchIinteraction”. The exhibition aims to showcase students’ work, creativity and demonstrate their talent to the public. Students were asked to interpret this theme and produce original projects.

Linton University College School of Architecture Design team won the Bronze Award for Best Booth based on their concept, “Box of Life”. Thirteen students from the school pooled their ideas to create a modern and minimalist feel for the display.

This year, Linton University College of School of Architecture Design student Bong Vui Hung received the Best Student Award 2016. He was selected because of his excellent academic achievement on the Diploma in Architecture. His vision will inspire architecture talent in future.

The Third prize for Photography in this year’s PAM Student Competition was won by degree candidate Tan Jing Wen. Her work can be seen below. Jing Wen’s flair for balance and composition is obvious.

We congratulate all our students who participated and made the event a success. Your achievements will inspire and motivate others to strive for excellence in creating the built environment of the future.

“Projek57” Project

On the day of KTG Convocation 2016 at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, ‘Projek57’ was launched in collaboration with KTG Education Group Malaysia. Projek57 had been created as a social enterprise which sells premium quality, 100% made-in-Malaysia cotton tee shirts and other merchandise with positive and meaningful messages about our nation. 40% of profits are channeled towards empowering single mothers and underprivileged youth programs.

KTG Education Group distributed tee-shirts featuring KTG Education and Projek57 as a door gift to the graduates of Convocation 2016. The group’s President Datuk KT Lim contributed RM41,650 to ‘Projek57’ project and also awarded scholarships for 3 orang asli student candidates, in conjunction with the event this year.
